I wrote earlier that – the relationship between a guru and shishya in a guru-shishya parampara, is akin to something that lies between a relationship that exists between a mother and a child and a relationship that exists between a God and its devotee! ( https://www.mayoan.com/post/90-why-general-schooling-is-better-than-home-schooling ).
Only such a guru or such noble souls or gods of the universe may understand and realize the term – ‘universal love’ or transcendental love. This concept is captured adequately in the Sanskrit term – ‘Vashudevakudumbakam’ or ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.
Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (Sanskrit: वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्) is a Sanskrit phrase found in Hindu texts such as the Maha Upanishad, meaning, "the world is one family".
Such a noble high-quality soul may have transcended the below aspects:
He/she is aligned more and more on the mukthi or bliss-end of the experiences spectrum and he/she exists only with a love to serve mankind and other species’ and to show the path of liberation where applicable.
Such a person might have taken several births before reaching the current exalted state. He/she might have taken mostly, the role of a spiritually evolved person in most of his births!
Such a divine/daring soul may have achieved many siddhis over several births and yet their compassion towards fellow souls may be the only reason why they keep diving to earthly realms.
They do not differentiate the souls based on form/functions and is universally compassionate towards all souls. They may perform yagnas and poojas or may travel and establish peace and work for the welfare of all the souls in the universe. They may have some reiki powers of healing too. They are too soft inside and may follow a very strict minimalistic and organic way of living.
Due to their maturity evolving over several births, they may show extraordinary intelligence at very young age. Their soul impressions bestow all needed cosmic knowledge and awareness at a tender age itself which may help them transcend the basic needs of food, sleep and sex sometimes! Hence when they do not court any opposite gender persons, we have to accept it as a naturally evolved state and unless he/she expresses his want the persons surrounding them should not force him/her into unwanted relationships. (say, they might have experienced ‘magic-carpet’ love – but that is perhaps in their past - several births ago!)
Sometimes they may have transcended or subdued the strong needs around the basic things such as food, sleep and sex. Or they show strong discipline in their food/sleep needs.
If such a guru (we may not know where he is in his current spiritual journey unless stated by him or his guru or any nithyasuris) , is found to be a father to a child out of wedlock and found to be not violating any existing laws, critical analysis by the society is not needed as this is likely to be a time waste and in fact such a child from an advanced soul like the guru may be beneficial to the society. (As an example, scriptures say that Maharishi Ved Vyasa was born to Sage Parasara, who is an expert in astrology, and Machagandhi (daughter of a fisherman) otherwise called as Satyavati, in a celestially auspicious time, which blessed that a child born in that time will benefit the whole mankind).
Such a great guru practising ‘Vasudeiva Kutumbakam’ may –
1. Travel a lot to meet people and alleviate their pain and ease their sufferings
2. May write a lot
3. May teach a lot
4. May love all life forms
5. May participate in governments to enhance governance
6. May provide needed benefits to the citizens
7. May spread the joy of giving and may anchor the donations’ drives.
8. May serve as an anchor to the society for spiritual festivals and events
9. May install faith in people on the good of the universe
10. May not know fear in general or the fear of death
11. Is loved by everyone
12. Learns till the last breath is taken
13. May establish ashrams and matts to sustain the spiritual legacy
14. May teach esoteric knowledge on traditions, sacraments, rituals and other invaluable scriptures
